Since 2014, Dr. Kranzler has served as the Editor of Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research, the official journal of ISBRA and RSA.
Bo Söderpalm
Bo Söderpalm, M.D., Ph.D., is Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Addiction Biology Unit at the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology, Department of Psychiatry and Neurochemistry at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and a Chief psychiatrist at the Department of Addiction and Dependency, Sahlgrenska University Hospital. He is the co-founder of Sobrera Pharma AB. Söderpalm´s translational research has been supported by grants from the Swedish Research Council for 30 years. Main focus has been to use animal models for disclosing important mechanisms of action of alcohol in the brain reward system and to translate the findings into pharmacological treatments for patients with alcohol use disorder via randomized controlled trials. Söderpalm has published approx. 150 scientific articles and 20 book chapters.
Andrea de Bejczy
Andrea de Bejczy, M.D., Ph.D., is a senior researcher and head of the Clinical Trial Section of the Addiction Biology Unit at Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology, Department of Psychiatry and Neurochemistry at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and has a leading role in alcohol studies at the Department of Addiction and Dependency, Sahlgrenska University Hospital. She is co-founder of Sobrera Pharma AB. Andrea de Bejczy’s main research area is randomized controlled trials on new pharmacotherapies for alcohol dependence. A parallel focus for de Bejczy’s research is bio-markers for alcohol dependence.
